after selling my L7's that I had for like a month I decided to build it bigger...

im going to get my box made relativley soon...so I need to make up my mind if i want to go 15 or 12 for the BTL...

if its a 15 im guessings its going to have to be facing upwards, im tuning the box to 35 if that matters

 

The box needs to be tuned to the sub, so to say its going to be 35 before you know what sub your putting in is jumping the gun.
FI recomends 32 on the 12 and 30-35 on the 15 but 3-5 cubic feet of space. Thats going to be a big box, and with 12-16 squar inches of port per cubic foot IDK I dont really have a visual reference to compare.
Emp whats the volume on your box?

Depending on how big its going to be I say you go with a 12" tune it the what FI says to tune it to (32hz) and run 2000 watts into it. You won't be disappointed.

You really want it to sound nice look into getting whoever is making your box to see if a flared port is do-able.
I herd one of the Pound that Sound boxes the other day with 1 TF One 15" (Candian made, uses the baskets and I think motors from DD and then other assorted parts) in a Ford explorer and it made me dizzy, you know when you eye ***** actually shake cuz of the bass its freaking loud

 

my box is right at 5cu net. a single 15 box ported should be around that

i want to say upwards is probably the best for a 15 but realistically its a crap shoot

the T2 looks good. i would ask how your liking it but no sub yet :-(
