cobalt 08 alternator

i have an 08 cobalt. just wondering if the alternator would be able to handle 1000 watts rms. I plan on putting in a this amp

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ZXi+1008.html#

and two of these subs

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+-TYPE+R-.html

also what gauge wire would i need, and fuse size between the battery and amp

just want to make sure car alternator can handle it before i put all that power in

thanks for any help

The amp has an 80amp fuse in it and the stock alt puts out 105 amps so technically it can handle it.
You might want to upgrade your battery.

And I would go with a 100amp fuse on 4 guage wire
