anyone know of a kit to convert the radio over to sirius from xm and still use the stock radio for controls, oem antenna etc..

if it's possible, could you post up what items i need to buy, or tell the install shop i need

i think it's going to be like HP/Compaq. same company but they leave both brand names out for more shelf space in the stores, and being able to market both brands.

They said in their merger they would brocast them together soon, but didn't specify when

 

any stereo shop that sells XM/Sirius should have the part and know what you're talking about. DEI SIRGM1 was the xm to sirius module for the class II BUS system vehicles. If your car uses the LAN system there is a new piece, but I don't know if its out yet. And myradiostore.com should have the piece to allow you to keep your factory XM antenna, I'm just having trouble finding it.
