Damn Rattles
So I have layed 1 layer of Dynamat, it was sh*t, barley touched the rattle.
So I went and got hush mat, much better, did my back deck lid, combine that with some mods on the child restraint covers, no more deck lid rattle, at all.
So I continued on with the rest of the trunk, first on the underside of the trunk lid, then on to the back wall. Heres where I ran into problems. The wall is done but I havent gone down into the spare tire well yet, I turned the music on to see how it was coming along, if you look up under the car on the back end, 6 inches or so from the bumper is a piece of sheet metal that comes down and borders the spare tire well. This is the source of my problems, it is the major rattle left on the car. I had to push on the thing with alot of force to get it to stop rattling. Seems to me that no amount of dampener is going to fix this, at least not from the inside. Anyone else run into this problem, or have any suggestions on how to shut it up. I was under the impression that hush mat or dynamat wouldn't stick to the outside or stay there at least but maybe I'm wrong.
Any help would be great...its kinda embarrassing
Added -I was thinking about that spray on truck bed liner, spraying the underside of the back of the car with it, will this work or is it a waste of time?

I was in a hurry when I wrote it so sorry
I was talking about the outside of the car
Under the trunk of the car you can see the outline of the spare tire well
There are sections of sheet metal that form a box around the well.
They however don't sit flush against it, there a few milimeters of space , or one loud ass rattle.
So would the second skin still work even though its on the outside of the car, exposed to the elements?
