i have a 07 cobalt, and so far i have figured out that the harness and antenna plug are different than the 05 and 06 models. who here has insalled an aftermarket deck in their 07? any help would be appreciated. BTW, i have the pioneer system.

 

i did some searching and found that 06-07 avalanche harnesses work, but need to be repinned. however, this info was from november last year. Does anyone have a better or eisier meathod of making the harness, since its 6 months later?

 

You said that you have the pioneer system so this may not be right but in researching the necessary harness for the install in my 07 ls cobalt I found that Scoche doesn't make one yet, they said give them a month and it may be out. The Metra harness is a GMOS LAN-03. Metras phone number is 1 800 221-0932 and the phone number to Scosche is 1 800 363-4490. They can tell you exactly which dash kit and wiring harness you will need. In the 2007's you will not get door chimes or a turn signal chime without the kit. The metra version of this kit can also be purchased on ebay, just search for 2007 cobalt wiring harness and you will find a kit that has everything in one. Hope this helps!
