Does it matter what i ground the alternator to?

Does it matter what i ground the alternator to?
The ground wire on the back of my alternator broke off of whatever it was grounded to and I can't find where it went. Does it really matter what bolt on the motor I connect it to?

As long as the motor isn't isolated and I don't think it is.
