Door Chimes Weird Interference Noise...

okay i have a pioneer avic d3 in dash head unit... my beep and chimes goes thru the driver side speaker, like when you switch your key to the on position etc. i have a capacitor, 2 amps and 3 subs on my system, but regardless i disconnected all that to try to fix the problem and

i get a weird interference noise when the door chimes go on, it sounds fucked up, and i checked numerous things, my only guess is the wiring harness behind the radio has something wrong with it, or maybe there is something loose there??? seems like my dvd player also turns on like a few seconds late too when i turn on car battery

any input wud help thanks!!!

anyone? weird noises thru the door chimes.. its not the speaker either.. sounds like interference for sure....

yea its def not the speaker, but a few nights ago, when i started my car, after like 2 minutes my dvd player random shut off and restarted... ? the radio fuse in the fuse box is fine... Where is the pioneer fuse that your talking about , is it replaceable. im gonna rip the dvd playeer out today and check the wiring harness.....

the radio works fine though, its just the chimes that sound distorted and like theres interference.. kinda the sound made if the back part of a sub/speaker magnet is touching metal, but its not that. im thinking something with the harness...if the pico fuse was fucked i think it would be making the noise all the time ?

possibly i dont know. google pioneer pico fuse, if your pulling everything apart might as well try grounding the rcas to see if it helps.

This suggests a bad ground. A bad ground on your chime can also be causing freaky sounds to come from it.

If you turn your lights off and it shuts down the HU then something is wired wrong.

What harness are you using, and what year car do you have.

it was fine meaning i never got the weird noise each time the door chimes come on... and basically, each time the chime comes on, whether its cuz the trunk is open or whatever, once the harness clicks to make the chime noise, the dvd player turns off and turns back on

right well the chime being stupid now is probably the harness going bad or something. but if its always turned off when the chimes then it might be a wiring issue as well

yea i ripped the dvd player out and i found the harness box, switchboard thing, had the plastic cover completely off.. so that was definetly the problem, but now i think the harness is completely gone, the radio or chimes will not go on.... any links to 07 harness, and i dont care about keeping the chimes, im looking for the cheapest one for now...

actually, is that little switchboard box thats basically on the harness only there becuz its a dvd player..not sure if thats a pioneer product that came with it wen i installed it...
