Does anyone know if it would be possible to swap my factory non Satellite deck with a satellite one? I would like to use sirius via the gm connector kit, and want to keep the dashboard looking stock. Is it a simple plug and play swap(as far as the head unit is concerned) or is more required? I realize that I will have to add the antenna, but I already have the antenna that came with my current sat. radio. I'm starting to regret not getting the satellite factory installed. Any answers?

Yes I belive so, goto your dealers and if you have it they can convert it. If you don't they might be able to install it. If not get a portable Sirius unit, like Sirius One, or the S50, I have it in my car and it's awsome. Can mount it on a vent, or attach to center console by the passenger floor. I have mine in the right center vent.

 

I have a Xact Visor. I just want a factory look, although the visor is the same color silver as my interior, I hate having wires showing. It's hard-wired, but The wires have to be plugged into the unit. I want a clean look. Would it be the option price of $350 to get it from a dealer and have it installed?

 

I want the stock unit my self with XM.
Im going to talk to the dealer as soon as I get home.
