Does anyone know what I need to hook up XM to my new H/U? It's satellite radio ready, but I'm not sure if the factory XM antenna is compatible.. my guess would be no. Can anyone give some input?

 

the xm antenna on the car has the same plug as any other xm antenna. i am currently using my factory antenna with my skyfi 2 and a 50ft antenna extension cable. you would need to buy the jvc tuner box tho, i dont think you can use the factory one. and just a fyi, the stock tuner box is located in the middle of the rear deck in between the 2 speakers

 

forget XM crap, go sirius. your deck should be sirius ready.

It is, but that means running a new antenna and bs.. besides I'll wait until they (hopefully) merge. Theyre having a meeting in mid-late Nov to decide the outcome.

 

i wouldnt wait for a merge... its been "happening" for forever now
