My dd 1508 with box weighs about 20lbs more than stock and can handle enough power to hit nice and hard. 20lbs is nothing!

Look into some dd 1508 subs or some SA8s (Digital Design or Sundown Audio)

I was never a fan of large subs. Time after time Ive seen well setup high powered small subs do just as well if not better than larger subs.

In the local outlaw class I saw 2 12 inch DD subs getting burped at 3000 watts each in a 3rd order setup beat out 2 kicker 18 inch subs getting roughly 10,000 watts each by almost 3 decibels. DD setup was Mach1 audio out of washington mo. Kicker setup was SB audio out of Union Missouri. DD setup was in an 80s Volvo. Kicker setup in a 2 door blazer with the back windows replaced by sheetmetal and welded solid.

Very very cool setup!

im not a fan of the amp being mounted on the box. i did that with my old setup and it vibrated the **** out of the amp. im surprised it didnt break the boards in the amp cus you could hear the **** in the amp vibrating when your head was near the trunk.
