It had to happen eventually :/

the eyebrow light on my right headlight (2nd gen? ebay) went out i was hoping for the best, but in less than a year it burnt out.

questions:
1. is there a way to fix it?
2. is there a way to burn out the other one (i just want it to be symmetrical)?
3. I have an H7 HID setup..what are the gens that use this..cuz i know one of them doesnt use H7, i think gen 1s?
4. Is there a better quality headlight or is it only hit&miss ebay? Ive seen them on TTR and Cobalt Addcition so i wasnt sure if those were better made or if they were the same..

5. Any other advice i can get?

thanks for all the help

2. Did you have to wire up the bar separately to be on with the headlights or was it wired with the halos? If it has its own wires just unhook them on the other one.

3. 1st and 3rd gen are both h1

4. as far as I can tell the ebay ones and every other ones are all the same product, just different customer service.

5. If you havent already I'd say play with the connection and wires on the back of the headlight, they may have just come loose.

Ok. Thanks for everything. It looks like there is a red and black wire coming out of the back of the brow. Maybe if i disconnect those.

if all i have to do is replace bulbs to be able to use the H1 headlights then I might just do that.

Is it possible to switch my H7 bulbs for H1 bulbs and use the same conversion kit/ballast, etc?

yep the same ballasts and all will work, I switched from h1 to 9007 and just bought new bulbs for 20 bucks on ebay. all connections are the same

if you want I got some first gens brand new for sale, I'll even include the h1 HID bulbs for 130 shipped. already aligned (although shipping may make em out of whack) just throwing that out there
