Head unit install, no sound

Well i installed my head unit with the harness and all, 09 cobalt ss, did exactly what instructions said, and i have no sound. wtf. now what

what harness did u use? do u have the base or pioneer package? and is there a blue remote wire on the harness? and is it hooked up?

No there is not a blue remote wire on the harness, there is one by itself on the pioneer deck harness that's blue and white that says in book for power antenna and on other page it says if u have a Bose system with an amp that one is for amp. I have the harness that was linked to on the how to section for the 06 cobalt ss. Is there a different one? If so link me to it. I noticed alot of the wires on the factory plug don't even goto any pins on the harness, they just goto empty spots, which make no sence

in my case i must solder the blue white free hanging wire to pink wire on cars harness, and presto, sound. but gay that it isnt in harness
