Headunit lights went out... any ideas?

The headunit on my car decided it didn't want to light up anymore. The display still works, but none of the buttons light up like it used to. Is there a bulb or LED somewhere in the headunit I can change? Thanks in advance for your help.

09 SS with the Pioneer sound system.

Dash lights work. The Fog lights button, Traction button, cluster, Heat/AC controls... still light up ok. And the display in the headunit still works. It's just the buttons that aren't backlit anymore.

i think ive herd of that as an issue before. if i remember correctly the newer modles have a face on them like the older ones that can be removed. you may want to remove it and try cleaning the surface that connects the 2 pieces and see if that helps. may need to replace it thou
