I agree with spun. try and not use the blue twists. if you cant solder then see if you can get some cripcaps or barrel connecters. twist and tape isnt that great, but then agian same with crimps

it has a yellow wire but on the labeling it says it is a "memory wire"

Yes, I believe the yellows should be together and run your accessory wire to sunroof fuse. I grounded the unit right to a bolt on the chassis. I didn't run it to the black wire on the harness. Also, to bypass the unit, you can't just ground the wire. you have to run a relay or a switch. So unless you're doing that right now, I would run the green wire to the parking brake wire and just watch them while parked.

ok so the only wire that goes to a fuse is the red ACC wire off the pioneer?

Yes, your accessory wire should be the only one to a fuse.

so 2 yellows connect
ACC wire gets a fuse(sunroof)
h/u gets grounded
harness gets grounded
green wire taps into e brake via switch

I didn't ground my car harness. I just grounded the pioneer harness to a bolt. I wrapped up the brown, orange, and black wires on the car harness. But again, not sure if yours is the same on an 07.

What exactly is not working?
is the unit getting power?
Is there any sound?
Is there any video?
Have you checked all your fuses?

woah.... plug the cobalt wiring harness in and take a pic of that with the wiring colors easily visible.... im 99% sure i know the issue. simple wiring mistake.

oh and you dont need a relay for the vid bypass just the switch i included.

when you wire your park brake switch to ground you will need to flip the switch on-off-on so the image comes on, as far as no sound still trying to figure that one out, sounds like when you dont have the remote turn on wire hooked up to a factory amplified system

you meen the one that is off the metra? it was a "memory" wire, but on the wire itself it said "12v constant" so i plugged it into the battery wire on the pioneer
