How anyone attempt this

How anyone cut the back panel to fit big 6x9's in the back?

I have a set of JBL t595 Limited speakers. They are rated at 150 rms and 300 peak. I have this mounted in my old camaro and im thinking about putting them in the balt.

6x9

??

Aren't the factory speakers 6x9's?

They are rear mounted, just lose the grilles and you should be fine.

Somebody, correct me if I am wrong, because I often am.

The rear deck is 6x9 but not all 6x9's will fit. You can cut it to make it bigger I'd use an air saw, metal shears or something.

should fit just fine under the rear deck cover. Might push it up a bit in that space, but will likely keep the cardboard panel (fiberboard or whatever it is) from rattling after you break of a clip (which your about gaurenteed to do, Lol) I put the grills on my 6.5 components and a 3/4 inch spacer and it only pushes up a tiny bit.

you can cut it or just screw it in sorta half way. since the rear deck isnt even close to being sealed off even partially you wont notice a difference in sound
