Yes there is another fusebox. The center console where your radio is, if you sit in the passenger seat (front), tear the piece of plastic on the side off. It's held in by 3 or 4 metal clips, it will pop back in, but there is a fusebox right there. Much easier wiring it inside then running it outside

I was askin' 'cause I have seen some at the top middle run under the roofing and down the A-pillar and into the dash. I've heard that you can pick up radar further placing it there, but it does less for catching laser since laser doesn't spread as much as radar. But, if you are getting the laser alert you are already screwed, so it doesn't matter anyway.

I'm looking into hardwiring my radar detector now too since my regular plug is going to hell. How exactly do you remove that console piece? Cause I just ordered the wire.

The clips for the console piece are on the bottom. You have to tug on the bottom pretty hard. I thought I was going to break it, but it will pop off before it breaks.

Well I got the SmartCord wired so it's right underneath my boost guage. Then tucked the wires in all nice and perty like. Now if I could only figure out what wire to tap into undernead the drivers side....

Will the radar detector work if you hid it behind the dash or in the glovebox?
