its a good system for basic stuff. sound quality will never match aftermarket but it not bad
only down side is ur factory amp is crap, the speakers are good but the amp doesnt supply enough power. Basicly if u listen to ur music loud all the time eventually ur gana wreck a speaker
example most factory speakers are made out of a special type of cardboard or a cheap plastic
say aftermarket polks are made out of carbon fiber

Mids- Dayton Rs-180 7"
Tweets- kenwood silk domes
Rear- kenwoods
Sub- ED 12a.22 Flatcone
Sub amp- Hifonics Brutus bx1500d

System is a work in progress, tweets will eventually be replaced, as well as h/u, and sub amp. Probably going to go with some older ppi pcx series amps for front soundstage and sub.

very reliable, one fo the best things about aftermarked audio unlike engine parts is most of the time u get problem replacement, so if my eclipse head unit got stolen. u file a police report and eclipse sends u a new head unit. If i some how manage to blow a speaker, send the old ones back and get new ones

Heh, my spoiler flexes around 1-2" laterally when the bass hits.

I doubt the latch mechanism will last much longer on the trunk.

The only way to get them out is to remove the rear seats, and remove the welded in pegs that keep the boxes from moving.

The system is pretty much unstealable without a plasma cutter and an hour of labor

they had them for the most part just the one that splices from dvd harness to hook straight into factory harness. the sales guy tried to look it up and get the metra harness but he said he couldn't order it? i dunno. i tried tweeter too but they gave me one for a malibu saying it would work. needless to say they were full of $#!t. then they kept trying to let me bring my car in so they could do it and get my money. f-that. i never had anyone install my stereos but im thinking about getting circuit city to try it. crutchfield had the harness but it was another 180 bucks
