Mp3 Player Compatibility

Hi I am a new Cobalt TC owner and I wondering if anyone knew what types of mp3 players were compatible with the stock stereo system? I tried my friends zune in my car and it said "USB device not supported" so any help would be appreciated!

I think most phones, zunes, and ipods wouldn't work with the USB, try using just a standard flash drive

nah the external hard drives usually use too much power. U need to boost the power to get it to play assuming it doesnt have a cap on how many songs it will play

Ok this is kinda on topic and probably a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway and risk the inevitable flameage. How does the MP3 player compatibility work? I never got a manual with my car so I just assumed I could copy MP3s to a disc and the cd player would play them. Is there actuall a way to plug a player into the car? I think I remember someone saying something aboout a jack being in the glovebox or something.

Usb Drive Update

I bought a 16gb Kingston over the weekend and uploaded all my music to it including all my albums and it works flawlessly. Not bad for 40 bucks.
