Need opinions - and help with audio

Hey, i'm calling out all the people that have aftermarket systems on the balt. I want to get the Kenwood DNX7120 (google it) or something similar with the built in nav, and the touchscreen. I've heard some reviews about the product and it seems pretty decent, but its really pricey. I was wondering if any of you know of a similar unit for less. Also will this be able to run off the factory amp, will i need an aftermarket amp? I know absolutely nothing about stereo components so any help is welcome.

its a touch screen those are just there for basic real quick access...and for 700 bucks for all things i mentioned compared to 1000 for the DNX with just nav its not hard for me to make the decision, but then again i have a budget lol..if u dont then the dnx would be a great upgrade from stock

how big is the screen itself? 6.1?...and will these work with our stock xm systems?

wait, you have to have the disk in to work the nav system? can you play the radio while you do this or only nav?

yea its a 6.1 screen..the xm stock doesnt work(no after market head units work with stock xm) u have a disk in nav system and yes u can play the radio/xm/ipod during navi

theres a how to on www.avic911.com that tells u how to bypass the ebrake future so u can watch dvds and have full function of the navi while driving.

without the bypass u have to set ur navigation point while the car isnt moving and the ebrake is up.

for in dashes i would get a alpine pioneer kenwood eclipse in that order. BUT realistically get the one you like and has the stuff you need at a good price point. Im probably going to eventually get a kenwood (8120)
