Need opinions on these subs

So right now I have a Alpine Type E 12 in my car and its nice, but the problem is my box keeps sliding around, so Im buying a custom fit 2 (10) box for the coby and I wanna buy two of these...

http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...SWS1023&tp=111

I have a Pioneer Gm-7200 amp to power them, if its underpowered Im gonna upgrade the amp, suggestions anyone?

I have a type r and love it . Its a 10 inch, its not the loudest sub ever, but im only running one, and it blends with the music very much, has taken much abuse Highly recommend the alpine, after having multiple rockfords, and audiobahn, cerwin vega, and pioneer . Cerwin Vega was an amazing sub as well.

I personally would never buy an alpine sub, but my buddy has the same sub in his civic hatch. it sounds ok. and I hope you not planing on getting them from crutch fields. you can get a way better price. and the only thing custom about that box is the face plate, the rest of the box is just like a normal 2 sub box. it is hard to see in the cobalt, but if you look at some of the other products that guy is selling you can see what im talking about.

I know you say your upgrading becasue of sliding issues but if your upping the subs and posablly the amp as well to get more volume right? Well the best and easiest way to do that is get a nice ported box thats made to the sub specs. #2 if your box is backward firing and its sealed off then how does the music make it to your ears driving? It might sound slightly good for the midget hiding in your wheel well but what your going to end up having is the bass fighting to get in your cabin.... rattling everything in the trunk, pushing pressure on the 6X9s and rear deck trying to get air moving. Im not sure if you saw the vids and stuff one member posted about having 2 MTX 9500 12s and his truck was moving all crazy thats the direction your moving in with that box. (on a smaller scale thou)

I dont mean to sound like an ass or anything but im just trying to help you
