so i just tryed hooking up my pioneer 8400 and it powered on the speakers made sound but when i turned my car off the radio did not go off and the awsc steering control did not work i followed all the direction and followed the how post on this site please help and also there is a two connectors that come out the back of the old raio the 24 pin and a smaller one do i use this for anything its a 2005 ss pioneer system no on star

the smaller plug to the old radio is unused. what did you hook up the red wire from the pioneer to?
