Depending on the size of the subs. for 8 and 10 in I like to face them as you see pictured. So the sound wave breaks at the right point (the drives seat). For 12, 's and 15 Inch I face the opposite way to again have the sound wave break in the right place or close to it as possible. As far as facing the woofers together it can be done in a push pull combination as long as one subwoofer is wired out of phase.
