this is my buddies account, we were havin a few beers and watching the games and he passed out, but he said it was cool if i used his account to get some help!

anyway guys, im just looking to get a new audio system. i really liked my friends deck (McKeough) its the Alpine IDAX 305 so i picked that up. he's going to install it all for me he's pretty good with that stuff... here are all the components i've got in mind and i just a few questions about each if someone doesnt mind taking some time to answer.

Firstly i am not going to be ordering from these sites, getting it from a local shop but for product information here are the products:

DECK: Alpine IDAX 305
SPEAKERS: Front - 6.5" HERTZ ECX 165
Rear - 6x9 HERTZ ECX 690 (I can't link these cause the Hertz website doesnt have page specific links... lol)
SUB: I had a few different things in mine for a sub, as i listen to everythng and everything... just one 12 is all i need. it will kick a lot more than the stock one right?

I have a new MTX Audio MZS1204

I'm not too familiar with amps, but the guy at the shop said something like an EP2 from Hertz would be good for what i want (more pound then the stock sub, but i dont need to rattle my car apart haha) but that seems low, the sub i already have is 300 watts and that is 190 no?

like i said im not too familiar with the amps / subs, sorry...

if that doesn't work with my sub he was thinking about getting me a different sub, do you guys think I should upgrade or will that MTX one be pretty decent quality?

that mtx one isnt something super special but it isnt a bad sub. you should be able to put a bit more power on it if you wanted to
