then ya you just have to use a LOC for signal (tap stock sub wires) and get remote from the fuse box (you could also try to tap the stock amp remote wire)

however i wouldn't recommend leaving the stock sub still running

12" Alpine Type R powdered by an Alpine PDX-M6 amp. Also have a Pioneer AVH-X1500DVD double-din waiting to go in.

lol, that would make more sense if the run were 100 ft but I get you man. I loving to over do things. Its even funnier that our battery is in our trunk and the most anyone would ever need for any size amp (except competition setups of course) would be 4 gauge. You can literally mount the amp next to the battery. I love our SS battery placement.

That is awesome. I like my FA 00 but I am sure the Fosgate is a bit more flexible... I haven't tried heat on it yet but my 0g welding wire can tie a knot only a couple inches diameter, the FA 00 you can damn near fit a knot over your head.

Well I figured I would post a small update to my system. Still running the pair of Skar MA-8's in a tiny, high tuned, leaky box I built out of scrap from a 4th order and a pair of Fosgate 6x9. Now I am running an American Bass VFL 100.1 to push them, a pair of Reactor Audio tweets in the doors for highs with a 5k filter. Here, have a video:

If I wasn't questioning my work so much I would be done with my triple 8 box that is in the process of it's 3rd revision and the trunk would be blocked off. Also if I didn't get the surprise of $500 in doctor bills I would have my mids which I keep questioning and my Sundown 100.4 and PPI E.DZ would be in...

Current revision(V3)3 cubes net, tuned to 31htz:

Things that are missing from the drawing are "stripper pole" bracing and 45's.

nice, my system is in the thread "make your stock subwoofer boom" or something like that. I am a huge fan of ported subs and the small stock enclosure with the giant sub I built in that other thread isnt doing if for me. I guess I am a bass head. I need the port or TL or tapped horn sound.

It's a start... Not going to be happy with it until I need another 60AH battery and HO alternator.

I would love to tl but that would take up the whole trunk with one sub. Lol. Might be able to run 2 if I built the box in the trunk.
