Yeah my front driver side speaker is blown and well, why not upgrade it all. lol

So here's what I've been looking at so far, tell me what you think.

Deck: AVH-P6000DVD <-- would be nice, or something similar
Amp: BXi1208D - Hifonics 1200W
Sub: Kicker 12" 1200 Watt 2 Ohm

I'm not too fluent or knowledgeable on Audio stuff so I'm open to w.e

As far as my blown driver speaker, I have a pair of Pioneers that will do for now they're old but slightly used (my brothers), they'll work for now.. I'll eventually upgrade the 6x9's in the rear but there's nothing wrong with them atm...

You do realize that sub/box combo is wedged shape and designed for truck or small spaces.
Putting a truck box in a car is just a bad idea, unless you plan on putting it on the floor behind your seat
This is more of what you should be looking at (Based on price, brand and specs)

As for your amp. I can't endorse Pioneer (Amps), I don't mean to **** anyone off or rain on any parades but I just can't do it. I also understand that your on a budget, so I found this based on price and power output. That pioneer wouldn't stand up to any abuse, this will at least not shut down on you every time it got slightly warm

That is a nice head unit though, I would stick with that or something close to it as you said.

ah very nice, I updated my Sub: Link :] I did know it was more for trucks I just don't want a Massive box back there. The one you suggested is a 12" which is fine, the box overall won't be too big

That amp you suggested lists 900W at 2-Ohm RMS, if I'm thinking correctly that's what the amp can constantly put out? with a max of 1200watt.. but the sub says it can go up to 600watt RMS

So don't set the gains to full. Its better to have some in reserve for down the road (if its needed).

The truth is you shouldn't really have your amp running at full tilt anyway. It produces alot of stress and wear and tear on the amp. If you run it at say 75% your amp will last way longer.

Look at this way, if you took your car and drove it around with the RPM at 6500 all the time, how long do you think the engine/trans. would last? Same difference

Antenna Adapter. But other than that your good.

Make sure you get some decent 4 guage wire and some good RCA's. Wires are not the place to go cheap.
Take a look here for all the part numbers your going to need

This is a good unit for about half the price
