Question about subwooder specs
I'm looking into buying a Skar Audio MA-8 and the specs say the Re at the voice coil is 4 ohms even though its rated at 2 ohms. My question is would it be safe to run the 2 ohm model in parallel on an amp thats only stable down to 2 ohms? Here are the specs on the MA-8 2ohm model

specs look like they are taken with the woofer in series (d2 in series= 4 ohms) and no its not safe to run the D2 model on an amp thats only stable down to 2 ohms. With a single dual coil 2 ohm woofer you can only run it at 1 ohm or 4 ohms.
If your amp is a mono block only stable to 2 ohms then you would want to get the dual 4 ohm woofer to run at 2 ohms.
