radio has no sound

hi i have a cobalt LT and the radio is turning on acting normal but no sound is coming for the speakers, and when i press seek it doesn't stop on a channel it keeps going. any suggestion please

im guessing the radio is bad...its easy to take out...maybe just check the harness and see if there is a bent pin on the harness but idk about the seek button issue
