I Opened Them Up And They Look "exactly" The Same On The Inside Couldn't Tell The Difference But Could Definately Hear It. Oh Well

 

I know exactly what you are talking about. I went through the same. Bottom line is that the radio components are not interchangable. Depending on your car year, you will want to use another radio from the same year. There is not other way around the half volume issue, other than amping it. What I did was get the correct radio.
