Rear Deck Subwoofer

Searched around for a bit but couldnt find anything. has anyone ever installed subwoofers in the rear deck so the sub is in the cabin? ive seen it in other cars and have done it in my camaro but curious if anyone has done it in a cobalt

I did it in one of my saturns, it sucked to fit in and it really didn't sound that great.
Wasn't worth it.

cdt has some awesome stuff i have all there speakers in my camaro! but there pricey for the daily i just want some bass better then the stocker.

Put the stock sub on an amp of its own.
I think I have a 150 watt amp for my stock sub. its like 80rms bridges or something.

whats the max rms the stock sub can support? i was gonna throw 2 12s back there for a little boom boom, im changing all the speakers out with rockford fosgate system. just gotta figure out how to mount aftermaket tweeters in stock location

I would imagine you'd want good stuff I your DD since you spend more time in it than your weekender. Different strokes I guess

well I dont want junk in it lol. but I dont need audiophile stuff, I threw some Rockford Fosgate Speakers in to replace the factory Pioneers and they sound great, I have a 10" Kicker l7 ill throw in there right now see if thats enough.
