I see alot of people are using the pioneer Shallow mount to replace the stocker. My stocker recently blew and I am going to replace it with a shallow mount. Has anyone replace it with a shallow mount other than the one in the how to? Is there any that drop in without modding the enclosure? Thanks and I welcome any suggestions

 

you can get an aftermarket one. you can get a shallow 10", but you will have to open up a wider hole for the sub the fit, if you dont know how to do it write you can **** up the whole box and air will leak everywhere and then you cant even put your stock one back. if you wanna just get a stock sub and put it back lemme know i have a stock one for sale cheap.

 

I would order another stock sub enclosure to modify so you don't ruin your original one in case you mess up.

 

If u want to go that route i can sell u mine

 

the kenwood exelon cf sub fits with no modification

 

rockford shallow p3 fit it as well with no modification

 

I have mtx fpr10. It required a little trimming but sounds great
