Sirius: FM versus inline FM vs AUX jack sound quality

Well, AUX doesn't really matter to me as my car does not have it.

Just how much improvement will I see from the wireless FM to the inline FM adapter? My SQ is **** poor right now, barely tolerable at times with the wireless FM.

How dramatic is the difference? Is it still dramatic if you are blessed enough to find an FM frequency without interference?

How does it all compare to AUX input?

Anyone know a Canadian retailer that sells the adapter and such? I just know these guys:

The FM modulator for the sirius is easy to install and my SQ is crystal clear now. I would reccomend everybody who wants Sirius to get the FM mod for it.

I had one of these at home and tried to install it the other day. Link - http://shop.sirius.com/edealinv/serv...2&oldParentID=

Damn thing would work because our antenna jack is too small to fit into it. Every radio I ever took out had the same size jack except for ours, its smaller. Is there something else I could use in place so I don't have to use the transmitter anymore? Does the quality get better or just no static? I always have to have my volume up higher on my sirius but on a cd it is 100% better. I know the quality (kbps) on sirius is shitty, like 32 kbps i believe, where cds can go up towards 200+.

I think SQ is better and yes it does eliminate static all together. In order to use the FM Direct in the 07 you will need chrysler FM antenna adapters (1 from the FM antenna to the FM Mod and 1 from the FM Mod to the Radio). I feel it is worth it. No clue why it takes Chrysler adapters, but that is what you will need. I just did this less than a week ago and it works perfectly.
