Talked the Escort people at SEMA, I have a 8500 x50. They said by using the standard headphone jack out on the unit I could power a normal 2v LED to indicate when the unit alerts. Just need to find a few for a few different cars, didn't know if the LED expert here would have some/some sources.

Yep. Some sort of assortment to try out, yknow? I know there is a billion places to get them, just figured someone into that would have a few around or point out a site, etc.

i can rob some from some broken amps if you want. Or theres an ebay seller i normally get mine from but they dont have an "assortment" that i know of

Radio shack has quite a few also, there in the pull out cabinets with all the resistors and stuff like that
