I'm about to attempt to install a 15" JL sub and some audiobahn 6x9's into my...friends.. 05 cobalt.. I've been doing some research, and the way that everything is pointing me towards is a line out converter. I'm pretty familiar with audio equipment, but a lineout converter is something that is VERY unknown with me.. I'm going to be running a 300 watt coustic amp to the 6x9's and a cheap @$$ POS amp to the sub.

If someone could fill me in on what to buy and/or do I would greatly appreciate it. I know how to install a stereo..but like I said, lineouts are something I've never dealt with before, and the last thing I need to do is a hack job onto a girls car that would ring my neck..haha Any help is truely appreciated.

hey i have a line out converter that i removed from my cobalt and ill send it to you for like 30. Just let me kno i can also tell you how to install it. pm me or leave a post here
