Stock Sub Question

Sorry for such a noob question, maybe someone can just link me to a past thread if there is one I was unsuccessful in finding, which im sure there was, but anyway heres my question.

how do i turn the stock sub up in my '10 SS. ive tried a couple things with no success, and i can barely hear/feel anything from the sub with music on so i want to turn it up if possible.

ya you can add an aftermarket amp but that normally blows the speaker. no real way to turn it up

firstly are you only having issues with the bass being low on one particular on one band or is it all of them. if its just a cd could be a bad burn, if its an ipod do you have the ipod turned up

I'm running my stock sub with a 300 watt amp and it's still in one piece.

that songs ghey...

but like someone else said, mess with the EQ on the radio. Or check iPod or CD for bad burn. Worse comes to worse...upgrade, like I did

I've also noticed on my 2010 the sub seems quieter than a few of my buddies (2005, 2006, & 2007)...not an overly huge deal. But I've tried different things like turning up the bass under the Equalizer on the radio,on the iPod, etc, and its like it isn't the same as what it feels like on the others...

I put a 300 watt amp on mine as well as changing the sub to accept the extra power.
