If it has been asked idk but can you run an additional 10" pioneer and an amp in the cobalt without replacing the head unit?

yes get a inline output converter from circuit city, about $20. and it will give you the needed RCA cables. you will just need to wire the remote wire to your headunit, pretty easy

Depends on the amp and the sub, I get really good bass. I use a kenwood amp and an infinity sub.
