Question Will a single 4 ohms 10" sub works as a replacement for the stock Pioneer system?

I did a search but the last one I did took like 10 minutes and didnt finish yet... the forum during that time was really slow.

We know that the stock Pioneer sub is a dual 2 ohms one. What if I put a single 4 ohms one? I'd have to link the two positive wires and the two negative wires together so the amp outputs would be like... bridged? But I dont know if this will work, thats the question!

ya um no. i'm betting u cant bridge it and even if u could that's defiantly not the way to do so

a bridgeable 2 channel amp is like a piston engine. most people who say engine mean pistion engine but doesn't mean that's the only one. just like an amplifier not all of them are bridgeable and i bet to save cost its not.
