If you had to get a SUV... a trailblazer would have been a better choice.

Sorry to knock the new ride... but it's things like this that are really dooming our country...
i have 2 younger siblings, and its not uncommon for my parents to carpool when they go out to dinner and what not.
your such a tree hugger

jk man but 90% of the time the extra cargo space is necessary for my family
BTW ive never seen an SUV that gets this good of gas mileage. almost as good as my SS as well

Well... as long as you're actually using the space... it's alright

Just don't let me catch you driving that thing in rush hour traffic by yourself.

If these new tahoes really do get 20mpg or even close to it they get better mpg than a trailblazer...having owned one I never saw more than 18mpg and that was with a full tank being used on a 300something mile trip on a 55mph speed limit highway. I usually saw 15-16mpg...the I6 is a great engine but it sucks gas.

Tahoe's are not very good on gas at all; the Trailblazer is a much wiser decision.

If you don't own an SUV, the terrorists win! I've got an '01 Tahoe. Love the new ones.

Congrats, but I still contend that they don't make SUVs like they used to (i.e. compact and 2-door, like my baby '92 s-10 blazer... or the tahoe of the same era, which was basically the same car with a 350 v8 slapped on mmmm good).
