i have been beating some fast cars but i want more and im not gonna do a 90 shot like you. lol. gonna do some headwork, cams, solid lifters, and valvesprings then lower the shot to a 45

i will prob up the shot again later. i dunno. im getting the stroker kit for the Z as soon as i get out of school. 3.7L and built bottom end for boost. then its twin gt30 time

These cars with head work have an insane powerband. Fully built head and a small shot will make a ******* nasty street car, the power will be harsh and immediate all the way through the gear. You don't understand how well my car ran with nothing but the cams, no real tune, no meth, and a cracked sleeve, the car was a ******* animal.
Properly done head, tuned right with meth, the only way you are gonna beat that Cobalt for the same money is for the first 330' from a dig.

i already started a small savings. lol. i hope i can afford it by the time my tax return comes in...i want to do the head right full porting, supertech valve springs. will i be alright on stock valves? i dont think there would be an issue with them. car is gonna be an animal. hello 7,500 rpm's! 

And just a thought:
Area goes to 8100 on nothing more than springs... Makes the 1-2 shift a whole different affair

i'll see if i can pick up a set of 60's and harness along the way too. still gonna stay on the 2.9 though. revving that high i see myself over spinning the blower putting it out of its efficiency and developing a lot of unnecessary heat
ummm cuz u know my car right? lol. Ill race him thats fine with me. And if your talking about with SPRAY then yea ur car was pretty quick, but without it, it was nothing special at all, nothing close to an aniamal.

Agreed on the pulley size, unless you really need to, there is no reason to drop below a 2.8. Power lies in the head and tune, it can be made anyway without a 2.6.



not buying, my dad is basically giving me the damn thing. lol. we'll see how she runs after that. then i might need to buy joe's pistons. lol
