No you cant use the slightly lighter advantage b/c its all on the driver i cant stress it anymore. The Cobalts rims slow it down tho, top end b/c the time it takes the 18' rims and tires to spin to get up the Speedo/ so the 17' rims help out a bit more but not a marginal gain. It may be a drivers race on the street but #'s wise the Cobalt SS/SC should be slightly faster.
just b/c........when i was stock and raced a stock ss i won, he pulled out to about 60 and i realed him in and pasted him.
Its all to close to compare and if im served correctly weigh the ss w/1 person in it and half a tank of gas and do the same the redline. W/ me in it race ready no spare is 2770 and the sticker on the inside of the dorr is wet weight w/ 4 pssngers and suitcases and full tank. The saturn is actualy lighter. Go to a truck weigh station and pay 3 bucks and find out
