New pics of the 2.4SS

These are a few old pics I snapped one morning when i got home from work.

And here are the recent pics. Took out lower grill, plate holder and shaved all badges and not mention went wingless . Although an rksport 3 piece wing will take its place. Also sportlines, twm short shifter, and tint are on the way. Two weeks ago ran a 9.6 @ 74 mph in the 1/8th. Hopeing to get a 9.4 with the short shifter and driver mod .

Tried to get fancy with this one and it didn't turn out too bad.

Anyways all comments and suggestions are welcome

I am not diging the whole wingless thing. Reminds me of a base cobalt. This is just my opinion. Debadging isn't my thing either. The car looses value that way. To each their own my friend. At least you are trying to be different and that's what it's really about.

Yep gotta say, the car started out looking great, then the spoiler came off. After that it just looked cheap. But you did say you have a 3-piece on order so it sounds like it'll turn out quite nice.

One suggestion, take some red touch-up paint from GM and fill in the metal surrounding of your key-hole on your trunk. I did it to mine and it looks great.

debadging the big ass chevy emblem on the back i think looks good, but debadging everything is a little overkill to me

Well i took the wing off because i was going with the rk wing and just wanted something different in the mean time. Getting it lowered will help a ton as well but i'm going to try and get some better recent pics cause the car looks alot better with out the wing in person. And for the key hole, once the wing gets here its getting shaved and the spoiler holes will be filled and everything repainted. Also going to have them fill in the bumper holes on the front and paint the upper grill black and paint the inside of the bumper where the lower grill was black also.

Yeah I saw the pic it looked real good. Hell it looks better than the job I did on mine - curse my shaky-ass hands. Then again black is tough to do since it's not metallic.

Now that i've been outgunned by a 7 year old i'll do a touch-up tonight.

Brandon, sounds like your car is going to turn out quite nice. You swap 18's on there?

Wingless looks great man. Nice clean look. I want to do it to mine, but I need to wait until I have enough cash to fix the holes left behind.

Yeah, i def. don't like the wingless look. Like some other people say, it looks like a base cobalt, and kind of cheap. A Cobalt is def. a car where the wing defines it. Can't wait to see the new wing on and the tints. Should bring the car back to life.
