here's my own thread on my car and I can barely type I'm shaking with excitement. it dynoed yesterday at 212whp/225wtq. this thing is a rocket. video of me doin pulls in a bit when my friend uploads it. I can hardly get traction but its insane! I wll edit this tomorrow as well with the dyno sheet and they also have a dyno video.

 

Yes finaly some one has gotten a turbo. How much did it cost and lets see the vids

2.2 Ecotec build book shows 250 hp on stock internals. I wouldn't push too much harder than that.

Look at the LSJ rod vs. the L61 rod.

 

Yes, you dont have to lecture us about the engine. Alpine knows this engine like the back of their hand. its the pistons that limit it, not the rods. only 10% of the pressure on the piston is felt on the rod. its the small gap between the piston ring and the top of the piston that limit our engines.

i can vouch for this car...and just as i expected...runs hard, pulls hard, spools hard, and has not tuning issues...

i took this beast for a ride and 1st gear and 2nd gear has traction problems, 3rd hooks, and 4ths a beast!

So vids will be coming and air/fuel is right on!

 

I noticed you had a CEL. Any plans of getting that fixed? What injectors are you using and how are you tuning it?
