to answer other queestions. WOT afr is 11s cuz of compression. but 12 throughout the range. and we found the reason for the cel. it was a value of 2 on the low rpm range causing the smt to put in twice the fuel making it put a rich code. so its fixed now and even more finely tuned. this thing is WORTH every penny. I wold recommend getting it tuned by them or get the software to ine tune it for your car. also, the fuel/ignition map will work all the way for 12-15psi. so no retuning when u get forged internals. more vids in a few hours. my phones charged again. last night I woulda had a better pull but it died.
oh yeah. here's my lineup for when I get home. 06 stock ss/sc, 05 Ion RL w/ CAI, 04 wrx /Cob flash, and a 96 TA w/ CAI. all on video. my buddy dain who's here with me is taking a crap load of nice video and he's sick at video editing. so expect a sick video mid next week. so you think I can take em? I wanna go up against a ss/sc stg2. I know it would be hella close. but I dunno any in boise.

Yes, you dont have to lecture us about the engine. Alpine knows this engine like the back of their hand. its the pistons that limit it, not the rods. only 10% of the pressure on the piston is felt on the rod. its the small gap between the piston ring and the top of the piston that limit our engines.

Either way congrats on the turbo being done...My redline is going in soon for its all turbo swap. I bet its a blast

I got 2 kills so far. a 2005 or so v8 impala, and a 190whp NA civic hatch. he was cool and thought I had nitrous cuz I whooped him from a 30 roll. I'm actually gonna go cruise with them tonight. with some boosted neons and civics. all gonna be on video
the stock 06 ecm, e16 right? with the smt-6 piggyback. the ecm doesn't even know its there. I'm still getting 26mpg.

the cel is nothing to worry about. the car is running GREAT.they use 3 AFR guages when tuning. 2 in the exhaust and one on the end. john has been doing turbos for 30 years. he designed sms`s ion turbo, and toyotas origonal turbos back in the 80s. he's like 70 but the most knowledgable person about turbos u will ever meet. If anyone is in the pac. north west area and wants to see it, let me know. I don't mind sharing =P

yet to get an answer to my question.. lol with this kit and its piggyback fail inspection? i have emmisions and safety. emmisions i was told would be fine but what about safety? i heard piggyback = auto fail but how would they know?
