For the low boost you will have to run, it would be better to run an Eaton.
Besides I called Whipple today and they said that there is not enough demand for them to start making the replacement for the 1200AX. No small displacement twin screw kits form Whipple.

Why would an Eaton be better? This isn't a prosecutorial line of questioning, I'm just curious as to why the Eaton would be a better than choice than a turbo. Yeah turbos take a sec to spool up, but they have 0 parasitic drain. As to the Whipple, no support, oh well.

Between superchargers, the twin screw is the most efficient and has high boost abilities, but is also the most expensive. If you are not going to exceed 13psi then why waste the extra money on a twin screw when a roots will do the job for much less. That is why Whipple is not making the W75AX. There are not many small displacement s/c motors stock. Most small displacement FI motors are turbo and would be more difficult to swap from one type of FI to another.
