what size hose are you running to the catch can? still getting any blow by?

also, could you link me to the can youre running? i'm about to switch to a dual hose setup but can't find a good can.

running all -10. the can is huge. it was really the only place i could put it. just letting you know, this is complete overkill. i have a breather set-up that would be deemed by like a 800hp car

well i haven't really seen any other options work. i'm running a single hose similar to a -8 to a breather tank and i still get blow by

but your motor is hurt as well. get one of the ls1 filters that replace the oil cap to see if it remedies it before you spend a bunch of money on building a breather set-up. i have the PCV deleted as well. haven't seen even a puff of smoke

yeah i'm gonna be doin a rebuild soon so im just tryin to figure out which route i want to take ahead of time. i would do the ls1 filter but i've heard people say it gets oil dust all over the engine bay. i found a fitting that screws in place of the oil cap and has a -10 threads already on it so i was gonna get that and then have '-10 fitting welded onto the back. just can't find a can with two -10 inlets.

my can had one inlet and one side capped off. i just found another fitting to remove that cap and add another -10. it does spray oil all over the bay but it would serve as a good test. but if your rebuilding, it doesn't matter much. i actually have that oil cap adapter. it didn't clear my hood with a 90* standard fitting. it has to be a really short 90 for it to work. they are like $55 shipped new. i'll send it out to you for $40 shipped if you want it

any of you guys running the oil filter cap replacement consider putting something over it like the dry shields for the air filters? take it out and clean it or switch out and take it off for showings. would work to keep the **** out of the bay though haha

don't worry i'll have pleanty of room. i plan on trying to get this thing lookin clean as **** while doin the build so i'm more than likely gonna have a chassis/race shop back in my home town move the fuse box to the trunk and i'm gonna run the autowerks big ass intercooler with the piping going straight down off the tb instead of through the fender

well there would be tons of room without the fuse box there. just be warned that is a big project and more than likely you will be having some voltage issues with those lengths of wire

well i'm still debating if i want it in the trunk, or in a containment box up under the dash on the passenger side.

the ttr is a nice piece as well. i am just going for a manifold that is superb quality with almost no welds showing and the welds that do show are being ground down and powdercoated over. almost a seamless manifold. it will be available to the market soon!
