Has anyone uped the boost??

Has anybody bumped up their boost from 12psi stock? Does anybody make a pulley? Theres no way to use a boost controller like a turbo set up is there.

No, you can't use a boost controller. There is a thread on here about a redline who did a pulley swap though, you should find it if you do a search.

Edit: I decided not to be lazy and found it for you:

enjoy.

Yes, unfortunately it's the only way.

Some one on the site is running 17 psi. I am not sure on it's max potential. I would guess 19-20psi, I could be wrong though.

psifi kits run 17 psi i believe, however they have a piggyback unit that is wired into the ecu and allows the boost to be so high. they have a 2.8 inch pully. i have a 3.0, however i have not installed it yet, either this week or next when i have some time at home....... hoping to see around 14-15, with the bypass mod, however i dont know if the boost guage will actually show it......

You can get 20psi with the right pully and piggy back but I would wait for GM unless you want to cover your own problems,Cuz if you pop the motor $$$$$
