just because they've never heard of zzp doesn't mean they're not the best, most reliable parts for the LSJ. Hahn's stuff is more recognizable because they've been dealing with imports and motorcycles besides just domestics. ZZP has only been a domestics vendor, particularly with GM products.

Don't get me wrong, I love hahn parts as much as the next person. But your logic is failing you hard.

Im not really trying to argue who is the BEST Im just saying I ordered a hahn kit and I'm sure its going to be a good time.

And one more thing tell me why zzp is so much better. or are they just simply cheaper. Because last I checked garret is a pretty damn reputadable company and when they start making shitty turbos Im sure more people than the cobaltss.net crowd will know about it.

i will say this, no you will not have an 11 second car with their kit. honestly, the only good thing IMO that is of good build quality is their exhaust. i put the stage 5 kit on last year with the help of some friends. if thats all your going to do is bolt on that kit and call it a day, then you wont have an issue. but if your like me and get used to the power and want to go faster you might as well ditch it now. nothing fits how its supposed to because i have trans mounts, different suspension, **** like that.. my charge piping is a mess and that needs to be redone. particularly on the passenger side where the BOV mounts. the charge piping scrapes on the ground, and all i have are ss tc struts and shocks and the pedders springs and also you can not turn your wheel all the way either because the tire rubs against the cp.. um the turbo is alright, ive put this thing through hell, believe me and its still going strong. this year i plan on upping the boost to at least 25 psi.. supposedly the 20g is good for 30 (as per hahn) which i might consider doing later also since i really have nothing to worry about anymore besides my trans at this point.. but i would say its good for 12.5 in the quarter. your going to need a retune for sure and if i were you, i would ditch their "exclusive" turbo drain line solution and get it done the right way.. trust me, its not good.. and to answer your other question, dont even bother with the port fueler.. its a waste of money. i bought it like an idiot and its doing absolutely nothing.. if anything, just buy 80's.. in my case, 98's lol.. any other questions, just ask : )

like I said if the s20g isnt enough I'll buy a GTX and the only borg warner turbo I would buy is the EFR.

Is that 12.5 on streets?

nope... theres no way you could hit 12.5 on street tires with this. you need slicks period. i was using dr's and still couldnt get any traction @22 psi so i bought slicks.. i myself havent hit 12.5 but im pretty sure it can be done.. possibly even a 12.3 if your a good driver and get a 1.6 or 1.7 60'... search 12.69 @ 113 hahn stage 5 cobalt on youtube... thats my car. that was the fastest i got last year before i blew her up lol. its definately fun though, just for me i wouldve been better off going completely custom.

How much whp were you running about with that time? Thats kind of disapointing. but then again what do you think would happen with a gtx swap.

Why is zzp better than hahn? For starters zzp is about the only vendor in the community that is doing anything to further the cars. Secondly their kit is a grand cheaper, allows much more room for growth, and they actually give a **** about the community cause they don't cater to srt4's dsm's and do cobalts on the side. Hahn is just overpriced and under-preforms out of the base 5 kit.
Sure it's a decent kit, but why pay more for less? Have fun with the no tap oil solution .

I didn't think the Hahn kit came with a cat. I'm sure you could probably order it with a cat. Can probably do the same with the ZZP kit... just have to let them know you want a cat in the DP.

Installer error? AKA not enough oil? Couldn't say for sure... but I've had multiple, multiple, multiple friends and enemies that have run S200, S300, and even an S400 turbo for tens of thousands of miles almost problem free.

I've only seen one fail early and that was from improper oil supply. BP still warrantied it and had him a new one at his door in less than a week, iirc. Everyone is going to have problems here and there... no company is immune to problems.
