Forced Induction Turbos/Superchargers

Mbc ?

Iv got an 09 ss, I was trying to put a manual boost on it but it wasent as simple as I thought it was because it looks like there's a second MAP senson on the side of the turbo so i'm not sure were to T in at in no it's between the actuator and the inlet back to the turbo normaly but with this sensor in the middel of it all iv got no idea, any help would be appreceated, thanks.

Yeah I'm getin there but iv got a mbc Layin around so I wanna use it for now, have any idea how they go on these cars?

Well the car will only let it see 260/260. So even if you raise boost, it'll pull timing or something.

Well I adjusted the wastegate rod out and it never reset and even if it does I don't rlly car it's free power for a week or so, do u no were it goes on the car?

What he's saying is with out a tune "learn down mode" is still enabled.There fore no matter what you do the computer will make sure your only getting 260/260.You need to get tuned to get rid of the "learn down mode"

Yeah I know what you mean iv got a trifecta comin up soon, but it's not Gina set boost back as soon as I do it, plus when I get a tune n wanna put a manual boost on it I stil don't know how so do you know how to so I will no?

Good luck with the whole "cranking the wastegate" ...cranking the wastegate is probably the worst idea for "free boost" there is in any forced induction car (internally gated), if you don't get it perfect, the gate will hold closed and not open up thus overboosting the turbo and dramatically reducing the life of it, if not killing it all together. Have seen it in the VW forums with the 1.8t guys....bad idea....MBC without a tune...also a bad idea...
