methanol injection?

Hi
I’ve a 2006 Cobalt SS S/C with the mods listed below
But I’m having the IAT2 to high between 175 to 185 and is looking into going for methanol injection what methanol setup do you recommend me to use to get the best performance out of the car? Or maybe you have another better option?

Thanks in advance

I'd recommend Alcohol Injection Systems. Rodney is awesome and will walk you through everything and anything if need be. I have 3gph nozzle running 50/50 mix and it does the trick. I have a similar setup to yours.

In the past 135* IAT2 with 90*+ IATs in the summers. These numbers are after WOT runs. Regardless the only time my IAT2 have ever been close to what you stated was when my IC pump failed.

Don't have any track numbers for you.

My IAT2's used to be that high with less mods than you. My IC pump was dead.

Pretty sure AIS is out of business.

take a look at our systems, I know we have some of the best parts because others are always coping our ideas

Your numbers do sound a tad high but remember it has been nuts hot. With methanol injection you can easly drop your temps another 100 degs.

Your pump is def shot, that is way high.

+1 for AIS Meth Kits. Very simple hookup and a nice setup

Your iats should be no where near that even on a stock intercooler setup using the m62 & 2.7 pulley. 140s tops... on a 80* day

I'd drain your lines, take off your manifold and clean out the cores from possible blow by these cars like to get.

refill, bleed the system and try again.

otherwise... AIS, devilsown, sno, cooling mist... they all provide the same end result.

I'll be going devil's own pretty soon and should be posting up picks of install. Will be good for most up until the direct port portion.

can you explain more into details about "clean out the cores from possiblle blow" ?

i've tried a lot of things to get the temps lower but didn't succeed to get it better then 175
