Need Griffen h/e part number

Hey guys, I've searched all over and can't seem to find a part number for the Griffen h/e. Any one can help me out ?

the ottp version is different with a wider core. johns width will allow more air through to the radiator.

No it's not.

I'm not talking about this one:

OTTP Stage 1 Heat Exchanger

I'm talking about this one:

OTTP Stage 2 Heat Exchanger (Griffin)

^ This one is made by Griffin & is the same exact one John sells.

My only thing is I'm not looking at buying it from ottp or Powell. I've heard that it's a mustang cobra heat exchanger. Does that mean it's made for one and people just use it on cobalts ?

The griffin heat exchanger for the cobalt ss/sc was made to directly replace the stock heat exchanger. It is not used on mustang cobras.

The mustang cobra heat exchanger is a heat exchanger made for the cobras that some people use on their cobalts as a low cost solution to an additional heat exchanger.

not from what i have heard. i heard ottp has a revised version thats a inch thicker then the one powell sells.... will have powell chime in.

to the op.... what staged said. the cobra one is a low cost alternative. its not actually a griffen.... i havent seen anything griffen cheap

Never heard of this.

They claim it is over an inch thicker than the stock heat exchanger, but that's about it.

I highly doubt griffin would change the design.
