plugging them has no negative effect unless what you plug with interferes with the rotors(bad juju) or the material used sticks too far out to disrupt airflow. granted JBweld doesnt tend to hold but since discovered everyone is told to stay away from it. to date i havent known of quicksteel failing
The whine you pick up from plugging the silencer holes is not quite that loud lol, it is a noticeable difference though and only under throttle.

plug them with quick steel
go back and sand them smooth, i went back and did it 3 times bc everytime i thought i sanded it smooth, and put the blower back together and spon'd the pulley it would stop and wouldnt turn bc it was hitting the quick steel on the inside, so it has to be a perfect sanding on the inside, not so much on the outside though, but it takes a few hrs to get done right

No sanding required if done correctly.

lol i know. i was over exaggerating. i would like it louder tho. a quieter exhaust with a louder supercharger is teh sex

if you have the supercharger off already, ie: pulley replacement, porting....., then its really not a lot of work at all. sanding isnt necessary unless you get sloppy with the quicksteel. i'd probably smooth it anyway being a perfectionist lol.

In theory, if you pre-heated the housing and tacked the plugs in very carefully you could do it without warping the housing.

This should be a Use at your Own Risk Mod.. Plenty of people use quicksteel and everything works out and THEN.. You have people like me where the quicksteel failed and went into there intake manifold.. I found 1, but the other had gotten destroyed by the Laminovas..I know how metal all over my intake manifold and in/on my Laminovas..

Like I said, Use at your own Risk.

Weren't you the guy who didn't properly prepare the surface of the blower and only let it dry a few hours before starting up your car?

I have 6k on my plugs in my SC, with no discernible wear. I'll put up pics if I ever get them from my friend.

No, that must be someonelse.. I sanded and roughed up the surface very nicely and let the Quicksteel dry for a considerable amount of time.. I didn't even put on my blower until the next day.. I do not know why it didn't take and I wouldn't have ever known had I not taken off my blower when I was tearing apart my engine to swap pistons.

It wasn't my negligence. Unsure why it happened, I'm just saying.. It doesn't work 100% of the time. There are arguments on both sides.. I'm just letting people know what happens when the quicksteel falls out or isn't put on properly for that matter.
